[61] Manifest your good will towards me in deeds rather than in words. Do not do to others that which angers you when they do it to you.¹ Practice nothing in your deeds for which you condemn others in your words. Expect to fare well or ill according as you are disposed well or ill toward me. Be not satisfied with praising good men, but imitate them as well.
