Decoration Description:
On side A, Herakles battles with Kyknos while Athena and Hermes look on from the left, and Ares and Aphrodite look on from the right. On the neck are confronted lions with dot rosettes between. In the lower register is a standing youth between seated lions with averted heads, all flanked by sirens. On side B is a draped man standing between two women, flanked by seated sphinxes. On the neck are confronted lions with a palmette-lotus hybrid between them. In the lower register is a seated lion with head turned. To either side are sirens with reaised wings, themselves flanked by lions.
