Obverse Type: Within a dotted circle, the emperor paying homage to Ephesian Artemis. At left, the cult figure of Artemis stands in her tetrastyle temple. At right, the togate emperor stands in 3/4-view to the left, holding a patera (offering dish) in his right hand and sacrificing over a lighted altar.
