These, men of the jury, are the facts regarding which you are
to cast your votes, these are the grounds upon which I have entered the special
plea that this baseless and malicious suit is not maintainable. I shall bring
forward witnesses who were present when I was given a release and discharge by
the plaintiff, and shall then proceed to prove that under the law the suit is
not maintainable.Please read this
