TLG Canon of Greek Authors and Works, Third Edition, pg. 178
Smith's Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology, Vol 2, 1867, p. 276:
"Smith's Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology, Vol 2, 1867, p. 276: "Glaucus of Athens, and 2. of Nicopolis, poets of the
Greek Anthology, whose epigrams seem to have been confounded together...."
Brill's New Pauly: "Glaucus, of Nicopolis, writer of epigrams, Epigrammatist of the ‘Garland’ of Meleager, author of an epitaph (Anth. Pal. 7,285)
perhaps known to Propertius (Prop. 3,7,11). Despite the missing reference to his town of origin, two further poems are probably to be ascribed to
this G.: a dialogue between Pan and nymphs, in which the former receives news of his beloved Daphnis (Anth. Pal. 9,341), and an amusing lament
about the unruliness of the greedy boys of today (12,44)...."
Albiani, Maria Grazia (Bologna). "Glaucus." Brill's New Pauly. Antiquity volumes edited by: Hubert Cancik and ; Helmuth Schneider . Brill, 2010. Brill Online.
