Decoration Description:

The tondo depicts a bearded man standing profile to the right, wearing drapery around his waist and hips, holding something (meat?) in his left hand, and reaching his right hand into a large cauldron on a tripod.

The exterior scenes seem to show butchers. Side A depicts a youth (?), advancing profile to the right, behind a long table, who holds a meat clever in his lowered right hand, and an animal leg in his outstretched left hand. Another man, standing profile to the left, reaches for the animal leg, with his right hand, and holds a skewer in his lowered left hand. On side B is depicted another youth (?), advancing profile to the right, who holds skewers in both hands.
