Decoration Description:
Side A: Artemis stands in the center of the composition, her body turned to the right in a three-quarters view. She holds a deer (white with black spots) by its ear with her left hand, and brandishes a torch in her raised right hand. The deer's head is raised, and its hind legs collapse beneath it. Artemis wears a peplos with a black border, which is belted at the waist. To the left, Zeus is seated, with his head in profile to the right, observing the scene. He holds an upright staff, and has long curly hair and a beard. His mantle is draped to leave his chest and right arm free. To the far right is Apollo, who is nude except for a chlamys draped around him. He has long, curly tendrils of hair, and he leans on a staff with his left arm. Between Apollo and Artemis is a Nike with spread wings. She is wrapped in a mantle around her waist and left arm. She touches Artemis' head with her left hand.
Side B: Draped youths face each other. In the field is a ball(?).
Below the figural band is an egg-and-dart pattern. Above is the same, with a band of checks over that. On the rim is also an egg-and-dart pattern. Under each handle is a palmette on an inverted palmette.
